Love, Love, Love. When my son and I got there I presented a half birthday email I got which I was to receive my meal half off. But after we left I realized that discount was not on our bill! Very disappointed in the waitress. She had done a great job up to that point. Left her a great tip too. If only I had realized we got ripped off! Still love the place!

The place and ambience is good. The pasta tastes just ok and not out of the world. Garlic bread and minestrone soup were too good, a must try .

Spaghetti Factory is an institution. They have a lot of great choices to eat in a great atmosphere right alongside the Union Pacific railroad tracks. The majority of the meals include soup or salad, great hot bread, the main entree, and spunomi ice cream for desert. The special cotton candy drink, non alcoholic, comes with a cotton candy cloud around the color changing straw. The Brown Butter Spaghetti with Mizithra cheese is my favorite.

Comfort food “the Old Country” way, for Italians any way. Which allows us poor mortals to get a taste of what the “Mother” country would off if you have the chance to go. But in the mean time eat be happy and enjoy it here. One of the ‘old school’ chain places that works well. A great atmosphere with good food. So next time you need that pasta urge quelled, The Old Spaghetti Factory is a good choice.

Great chain restaurant that serves traditional Italian food. Marinara and Alfredo sauces are staples in their menu, though they have some other dishes available. Nice menu with options for every taste. They even have a small gluten- free section on it. This particular location in Sacramento, CA used to be a Western Pacific Railway train station. $$$😆♥️

Food was excellent, portions were generous considering the fair price. The restaurant was gorgeous, and the service was fast. Would HIGHLY reccomend if you like pasta.

One of my favorite places to go. Simple and filling and yummy! Try the mizithra cheese and brown butter with a little meat sauce. Creamy pesto salad dressing is so good! Side of broccoli goes well too!

Pros: Our server was good and tried really hard.Our daughter loved the applesauce.The bread is okay.Cons: Bagged salad - the cheapest kind.Marinara sauce is watery and flavorless.Getting our food took FOREVER.Loud, crowded, and surprisingly breakable environment for a kid-friendly establishment.They only have two stalls in the women's restroom, constant line.The bathrooms are not kid friendly. No 3 year old can poop when the automatic flush runs every 10 seconds.Their "mushroom sauce" is literally just marinara sauce (see above) with some canned mushrooms thrown on top. It was inedible.Parking is awful.Nothing is fresh or made in house.I could go on. But do I really need to?

Another great experience, food is already awesome but the service here tonight in the bar is outstanding, Marnie & Mitchell are a fun team to hang around with. Oh, and you're surrounded by the unique setting off all the antiques, thanks Gus & Sally!

I thought that the service and ambiance is nice but the food is a little lackluster. I think that's pretty standard when it comes to a spaghetti factory chain though. I just wish the food was slightly more gourmet given its ambiance. Kids would definitely enjoy it here so families are good though.

Phoenix was an amazing server! She was friendly, prompt and accommodating. Nice hot food and drinks were constantly full.

Always good, fresh food choices. And something new - you can choose shredded broccoli or shredded zucchini instead of spaghetti if you want to. Fast, friendly service, too.

It's needs a slightly better menu but it was good don't get me wrong.

Very beautiful place. Has an antique feel, and is very well kept. Staff greets you with a smile as you enter the facility. Feels like you will pay a lot, but meals are reasonably priced. There are many private rooms avaliable for private parties and business meetings. Front bathroom only had 1 stall and 1 urinal, but it was very clean, and smelled very fresh. Make sure to come around 6pm - 8pm, for they sometimes have an entertainer who works for tips making balloons, if you want to give your child an extra treat. 😄

It's just okay. Nothing spectacular. Nothing to complain about. The basic dishes are somewhat bland, but the prices are cheap. Go during the afternoon when there's nobody there. At night it gets loud from the hardwood echoing.

Awful customer service. We've been customers of this branch for a while and recently decided to try their catering service and regret it instantly: we tried to call to modify the order few days after placing it and were never able to get our call through. To make things worst we got an incorrect order with extra items and were charged for all of them, once we realized the order was wrong we tried to discuss it with the manager but he told us that they had videos showing that our order was correct (not sure how) which they didn't show us.It is ridiculous to fight with a branch manager in order to get decent treatment.

The lovers meat is not that great they pride themselves on it and the most disappointing part is the pasta comes with very meaty sauce but it really does not. The sauce to me it was just as good form a jar you will buy from the grocery store and for the price and the name of the restaurant it should not be this way. I definitely do not recommend you the the meat lovers plate. Pictures are worth a thousand words unfortunately I did not took one this time.

Solidly good Italian food, with other choices too. Always outstanding service. Our group had paninis, spaghetti with cheesy sauce, and various salads. All very tasty. Very interesting decor, with lots of antiques mixed in with more modern furniture.

Date night on Saturday night, came around 8:55pm and we expected it to be busy but it wasn’t bad, only a 15 minute wait for a table or immediate seating at the bar. We chose the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. The drinks were pretty strong and good price for what we got compared to other bars, and our food came very quickly after ordering. We had chicken Parmigiana and chicken picatta, both were so good. We left very full and satisfied, a little tipsy as well. Great start to our date night!

This restaurant (part of a semi national chain) is known for its limited but classic menu and interesting decor. I know many people who have been going to this restaurant for quite some time and it always seems to be a favorite. Check it out for yourself and see what all the fuss is about!

Fast friendly service. This last time we got to sit in the train car. No complaints, just a nice experience.

This location was as nice or nicer than several others I have visited. The service was fast almost to a fault feeling like the were trying to rush you through asking if you wanted boxes before we were done eating. Our server apparently changed midway but there was no mention of it. The Mizithra was as good as always. My friend that had the chicken piccata said it was so-so a little on the tough side although not dry.

Love the decor. As for the food, it was just so-so. But would come here again for the ambience. Also, service was really good

Marnie? I believe that was her name. I give all my reviews a few days to write to really settle on my experience but honestly I believe this has been the best pasta place to eat. Marnie gave us the best service and really went out if her way to make sure my wife and I were comfortable and happy. I'll always consider this place when I am in Sacramento. Thank you for the great food and great atmosphere! If you're reading this as a review I highly recommend this place for for a great night.

Kathy was our server, we brought our own bottle of wine ($10 corking fee) - but we had GREAT wine🍷🍷. Celebrating my wife's birthday - had a fabulous meal with Chicken Parmessan & Manager's Favorite of Clam & Meat Sauce. Staff were efficient and prompt with everything; salads with balsamic vinegar and hot sour dough bread. Only wonder if they changed their Spumoni provider - didn't taste the same as month's ago. We will definitely go back - YUMMY. Very good~~~

This is my favorite old spaghetti factory (downtown Sac). Love the building because it reminds me of a train station. I was surprised during my last visit they were out of grilled cheese sandwiches, but luckily they had an alternative for my son (Mac and cheese).

Excellent service. The waiters and staff were friendly, professional and courteous to my family. The food was delicious and authentic.

Food was great had the chicken fettuccine yummy! Waitress Kayla was pleasant.

Despite having been here several times in the past, it's about time I give a brief but honest review. First, this location is a nostalgic downtown fixture. The alcoholic drinks are affordable and great. The food is delicious and who can resist the generous portions. Last but not least hot and amazing fresh baked bread. I always have a great experience and friends and families will too.

Okay the food here is okay it's Italian food but the restaurant it's amazing it's like an old mansion done into a restaurant very big big restaurant and there's a trolley car in the center of the restaurant awesome and very very romantic so if you're out in town looking for a nice place to take your girl or your guy this is the restaurant it's hella hella beautiful

This was a beautiful place inside! Nice atmosphere & waiter was good.

I love this place. Going here as often as I can for over 20 years. Their meat sauce is unlike any other. And over such a long time they have been consistently great which is just insane over that length of time. I typically order the angel hair with meat sauce and 1/4 mazithra. The dinner comes with pasta, salad, and desert all for a reasonable price.

If I would be to rste the place only on the fresh baked bread they make there, this would have been a 10 star review. The food is fair and the service is good. We go there because my kids love the pasta, is convenient and is quick.

Just like it was years ago last I went!! Was a union Christmas party on a Friday night - need I say busy-busy, very busy. Bit slow serving all of us - dinner was to be at 6:00-Served at 7:30. When I got my lasagne it was absolutely wonderful!!!!! We got the bread about 20 minutes before entrees so needless to say it was all gone long before dinner 😕 so good very sour dough tasting so good!!!! I'll be back!!

Older building with a unique, modern twist. It also had a very nice and comfortable waiting area! Staff was nice and attentive. Really liked the atmosphere and style of the restaurant for a date night out, would of been even better to have had the option to dine in the train trolley! Food great, decent prices and most items are a 3 course meal with soup or salad including ice cream for dessert :) The extra cherry on top was given a free 50th anniversary glass as a parting gift! Definitely love this place and highly recommend! ^^

Our sever was the absolute best Jamie was the best ..funny ..attentive and on top of things felt like a friend...he deserves a big promotion or somthing ...lol "like a apartment above the place" made my son James 16th birthday extra special..and he really loves his job...thanks Jamie
